Entrepreneurship Institute The Great Valley Technology Alliance (GVTA) is currently finalizing plans for the 8th Annual Entrepreneurship Institute. The institute will be held in Luzerne County on February 5th-6th at the Misericordia University and on February 20th at Penn State Worthington Scranton. Those eligible to enter and participate include students from the region’s 15 colleges and universities, free of charge along with non-collegiate individuals who will be charged $100 for the entire program. Gain valuable knowledge from internationally renowned consultant, Jeffrey Babin, from the Antiphony and Wharton School of Business at PENN. The three-day workshop is now completely interactive and you’ll learn how to think innovatively through quality brainstorming, and how to turn an idea into a viable project. Your ‘teachers’ will not come from the classrooms, but are instead local success stories from Northeastern Pennsylvania with extensive business experience. These entrepreneurs know what it’s like to start up a company and what it takes to be successful in life. On the final day of the Institute, your team will present their big idea to a panel of judges and awards will be given to the winning teams. |
