Kenneth J. Krogulski

Kenneth J. Krogulski is President/CEO of Berkshire Asset Management, Inc. He is also the company's Chief Investment Officer. Ken provides leadership, strategic direction and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the firm. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from Association of Investment Management Research (AIMR).
Ken has 25 years of experience in research, security analysis and portfolio management. He began his career in financial services in 1979 at First Eastern Bank, N.A. (now PNC Financial) as an investment analyst. From 1986 to 1990, he served as senior portfolio manager in First Eastern's Trust Department. In 1990, he joined Berkshire as Chief Investment Officer. Under his leadership, Berkshire implemented a disciplined investment process. Ken was a shareholder in Berkshire prior to the Legg Mason acquisition in September 1999. In January 2001, Ken became President and CEO.
Ken earned his B.S. in finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from Wilkes University. He is a member of the Financial Analyst Society of Philadelphia; chairman of the Great Valley Technology Alliance's angel network screening committee; and serves as a Director of the Wyoming Valley Health Care System, the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, the Great Valley Technology Alliance and the Luzerne Foundation. He resides in Shavertown, Pennsylvania with his wife Ann. They are the parents of three daughters.
