Daniel Santaniello
Mr. Santaniello is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fidelity Deposit and Discount Bank, in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. In this position he is responsible for the business planning, management and coaching of all divisions and departments, and reviews and maintains assets and liabilities to ensure loan and deposit pricings and maturities are within acceptable risk levels. He has developed incentive plans that have yielded strong results, and his leadership and framework development skills have led to each department’s development of business plans that produced measurable results. Mr. Santaniello is also a member of the Board of Directors, the Asset and Liability committee, Credit administration committee, and the Trust/401K committee at Fidelity Bank.
Prior to his work with Fidelity bank, Mr. Santaniello worked with Pennstar Bank (formally LA Bank), in Scranton, Pennsylvania from 1994 to 2001. There he progressed from Audit Manager to Directory of Internal Audit, to Senior Operations Manager, Vice President, and finally to Director of Retail Sales and Administration, Senior Vice President. He was also the Audit Manager for Midlantic National Bank, in Edison, New Jersey from 1989 to 1994.
Mr. Santaniello graduated from Marywood University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He has also been quite active in community endeavors. He was the first Vice President of the Scranton Rotary Club, he recently completed seven years as an active board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and he is also a board member of both the Northern Anthracite Bankers Association and the Chamber of Commerce Micro Loan program. He participates in many non-profit fund drives, and is currently a member of the Technology Committee of the Great Valley Technology Alliance.
